User Permissions Key

The Scheduling platform has a built-in user permissions module that allows you to set user permissions on a per-employee basis. In this article, we have put together a 'Key' for you to refer to when deciding which permissions you'd like to enable for specific user roles within your system.   

Idea: When in the Edit Role screen, if you hover over each permission with your cursor you will be able to see a description of their function within the system like this:




CrewScheduler:

Can access CrewScheduler

Checked: Information populates on Home screen (List View,) blue calendar icon populates on left menu bar, allows access to CrewScheduler. Also automatically checks “Can edit CrewScheduler in Mobile App.”
Unchecked: Blank Home screen (List View,) blue calendar icon is gone from left menu bar



Can view employee notes in CrewScheduler

Checked: Hover over an employee to see notes
Unchecked: Note icon still appears beside employee’s name, however, no notes populate when you hover.



Can view employee details in CrewScheduler

Checked: Hover over an employee to see phone number and other information

Unchecked: Hover over an employee to see only last modified by, work type, recurrence start, and reminders (no phone number)



Can view CrewScheduler Notes/Activities

Checked: Can view Notes/Activities in the CrewScheduler

Unchecked: Notes/Activities are not visible on the CrewScheduler



Can edit CrewScheduler Notes/Activites

Checked: Gives ability to edit or delete one-off and recurring notes/activities. Only works in conjunction with “Can view CrewScheduler Notes/Activities.”  

Unchecked: Unable to edit one-off and recurring notes/activities.



Can add holdover hours

Checked: Can add and remove holdover hours to self AND other employees.

Unchecked: Cannot add or remove holdover hours to self or other employees.



Can add misc. hours

Checked: Can click “+Add” in the misc. area to add self AND other employees. Does not allow the ability to remove employee from misc. area after having added them.
Unchecked: Cannot add or remove employees from misc. area.



Can edit misc. hours

Checked: Can click an employee that’s already in the misc. area to change project code, work type, dates/hours, lists and notes. Does not allow the ability to add or remove employees.

Unchecked: Cannot click an employee in the misc. area and change anything. 



Can delete misc. hours

Checked: Can hover over an employee that’s already in the misc. area and click the trash can icon to delete them

Unchecked: Trash can icon does not appear when hovering over an employee that’s in the misc. area. 



Can approve self schedule users

Checked: ability to click and approve pending self-schedule users on the CrewScheduler

Unchecked: cannot even view self-schedule users that are still pending, thus no ability to click and approve



Allow CrewScheduler drag & drop shift changes

Checked: Gives ability to drag and drop employees across assignments

Unchecked: No ability to drag and drop employees across assignments



Can make CrewScheduler deletions ** Need “can edit employees in assignments” enabled

Checked: Can delete from assignment and rotation, but also perform the following functions: add holdover hours to employee, send reminder/notification to employee, view recurring dates, view fatigue levels, switch employees, view day planner. 

Unchecked: Cannot delete employee from assignment or rotation.



Can manage recurring shifts  ** Need “can edit employees in assignments” enabled

Checked: Can manage recurrences of an employee on the CrewScheduler, but also perform the following functions: add holdover hours to employee, send reminder/notification to employee, view recurring dates, view fatigue levels, switch employees, view day planner. 

Unchecked: Cannot edit or end employees' recurring patterns.



Can edit past events in CrewScheduler

Checked: Can access dates in the past on the CrewScheduler.

Unchecked: Screen shows grayed out and “Locked based on your permissions” warning when trying to access a date in the past on the CrewScheduler.



Can schedule self in the past

Checked: Gives the ability to schedule self for past dates. Must have the permission “Can edit past events in CrewScheduler” as well.

Unchecked: No ability to schedule self in the past. CrewScheduler will still have “schedule yourself” in the slots, but when clicked, the system gives a warning that says, “You cannot schedule yourself to a past assignment.”



Can edit CrewScheduler in Mobile App

Checked: This permission is needed in order to allow users to self-schedule via the mobile app. Without other edit-based permissions, no other changes will be able to be made with just this permission.

Unchecked: Employees will not be able to self-schedule via the mobile app. 



Can edit Strike Team ( this permission is only available if the strike team feature is enabled in admin system settings)

Checked: Can click the three dots beside a Strike Team assignment and choose “Edit strike team deployment.” From there, the employee would have the ability to change the deployment’s end date and end time, and add any notes.

Unchecked: No ability for editing a strike team deployment.



Can deploy Strike Team ( this permission is only available if the strike team feature is enabled in admin system settings)

Checked: “Strike Team Roster” button populates at the top of the CrewScheduler screen, with ability to click and edit roster and deploy. Only works with the permission “Can edit strike team.”

Unchecked: “Strike Team Roster” button will not be present on the top of the CrewScheduler screen. 



CrewScheduler Assignments:


Can add employees into assignments

Checked: This allows you to click the three dots of any assignment and do the following: Add Additional, Add Open Slot (changes minimum staffing of the assignment,) Edit Notes for Assignment, and Add Assignment Label

Unchecked: No functionality when the three dots of an assignment are clicked. 



Can edit employees in assignments

Checked: Can click employee within an assignment and change project code, work type/sub-type, dates and hours, labels, notes and counting toward CallBack rankings options.

Unchecked: No functionality when clicking an employee in an assignment


Can edit CrewScheduler assignments

Checked: Opens up the Assignments tab under CrewScheduling on the left menu. Gives options for editing entire assignments (can make changes, affecting past and present, to assignments under Add/Edit Assignments area, including start and end date and times, minimum staffing levels, recurrence options, etc.) as well as assignment groupings and the Daily View Setup.
**This also allows deletions of assignments from the Add/Edit Assignments area, however, you cannot delete an assignment from a specific day on the CrewScheduler**

Unchecked: The Assignments tab under CrewScheduling on the left menu is gone completely- no access to Add/Edit Assignments area. 



Can delete CrewScheduler assignments

Checked: Can click on the three dots of an assignment and choose, “Delete this instance,” deleting an assignment for one day. 

Unchecked: No functionality when clicking the three dots of an assignment (unless other permissions are checked.)



Can finalize assignments

Checked: Can click the three dots of an assignment and choose, “Finalize,” and choose the “More Options” drop down from the CrewScheduler and choose “Finalize all assignments.”

Unchecked: Finalize assignment options gone from the three dots within an assignment and the “More Options” drop down menu. 



Can edit finalized assignments

Checked: No functionality as a standalone permission. Also needs the permission, “Can edit employees in assignments,” in order to make changes within a previously-finalized assignment.

Unchecked: Even with the permission “Can edit employees in assignments,” the system will give a warning stating, “This is a finalized assignment, you don’t have permission to edit shifts.” 



CallBacks:

*main permission “Can see CallBack menu must be enabled to use subsequent permissions. This opens up the following permissions that cannot be turned on/off individually: view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.



Can see CallBack Menu

Checked: Red telephone populates on the menu bar on left side of the screen, with the following options: view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history. 

Unchecked: Red telephone is completely gone from menu bar.



Can send manual CallBack *main permission “Can see CallBack menu must be enabled*

Checked: Ability to start Manual CallBack from left menu bar, view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.  Can also start CallBack from the “Quick+” drop down at the top of the screen.

Unchecked: Cannot start CallBacks, however, still have access to view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.



Can cancel CallBacks *main permission “Can see CallBack menu must be enabled*

Checked: Ability to cancel active CallBacks, view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.

Unchecked: Cannot cancel active CallBacks, can still view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.



Can delete CallBacks *main permission “Can see CallBack menu must be enabled*

Checked: Can delete CallBacks, view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.

Checked: Manage CallBack Lists option populates under CallBacks in left menu, can add new list, edit and delete existing lists. Also gives permission to view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.

Unchecked: Cannot view/edit/delete/add CallBack Lists, option is no longer present under CallBack menu. Still have permission to view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.



Can edit CallBack rankings  *main permission “Can see CallBack menu must be enabled*

Checked: Edit CallBack rankings populates under CallBack Rankings in menu; when selected ability to adjust rankings (whether hours-based or rolodex,) view history of adjustments. Also permission to view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.

Unchecked: Edit CallBack rankings option no longer present under Callback Rankings in menu; still have permission to view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.



Can view CallBack Rankings *main permission “Can see CallBack menu must be enabled*

Checked: View CallBack Rankings populates under CallBack Rankings in menu. Also permission to view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire,  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.

Can charge/uncharge employees for CallBacks *main permission “Can see CallBack menu must be enabled*

Checked: Allows user to charge/uncharge employees for a specific CallBack. Also permission to view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.

Unchecked: Does not allow manual charging/uncharging of employees for CallBacks but still gives permission to view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.



Can remove employee from CallBack *main permission “Can see CallBack menu must be enabled*

Checked: Allows the removal of an employee who had previously accepted a CallBack, as well as permission to view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.

Unchecked: Cannot manually remove employee from CallBack, still permission to view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.



Can send employee recalls *main permission “Can see CallBack menu must be enabled*

Checked: Initiate Employee Recall populates as an option under CallBacks, as well as under “Quick+” drop down menu at the top of the screen. Also gives permission to view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.

Unchecked: Option to initiate Employee Recall is gone from both menu on the left and “Quick+” menu at the top of the screen. Also gives permission to view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.




Can view CallBack user history *main permission “Can see CallBack menu must be enabled*

Checked: Option to view User History available under CallBack menu; within, employees can choose from all available employees and see their CallBack history. Also gives permission to view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.

Unchecked: No longer have the option to view other users’ CallBack History, however, still have permission to view custom Force Hire Lists (within, it gives dates of last Force Hire  and notes associated with the force,) view all CallBack history including all details of each CallBack, and my (user-specific) CallBack history.



Manage Employees: 



The
*main permission “Can view all employees must be enabled* and that, in turn will open up the following permissions that cannot be turned on/offf on an individual basis:
view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 


Can view all employees

Checked: Employees icon populates on the menu bar, when selected can view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 

Unchecked: Employee icon is no longer present on the left menu bar.



Can add employees *main permission “Can view all employees must be enabled*

Checked:  Ability to add and import employees, as well as view all employees and their information

Unchecked: Cannot add/import employees but can still view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Can edit employees *main permission “Can view all employees must be enabled*

Checked: Ability to edit Employee Details, Contact info, Lists/Groups, Hourly Rates, Change Log, System Preferences, deactivate employees, batch apply operations.

Unchecked: Cannot edit anything within an employee, but can still  view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Can view employees’ phone number *main permission “Can view all employees must be enabled*

Checked: Ability to see employees’ phone numbers elsewhere in the platform, such as Force Hire lists, as well as view other employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 

Unchecked: Cannot view phone numbers elsewhere in the platform, but with the global permission of “Can view all employees,” that information is still visible.



Can delete employees *main permission “Can view all employees must be enabled*

Checked: Ability to delete employees from the system, can also view employees’ names, emails, lists, etc. 

Unchecked: No ability to delete employees from the system, but can still view  employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Can view personnel files *main permission “Can view all employees must be enabled*

Checked: Does nothing as a standalone permission, also need “Can edit employees” permission checked. Can view existing personnel file entries, but make no changes. 

Unchecked: No ability to view personnel file entries, but can still view  employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Can edit personnel files *main permission “Can view all employees must be enabled*

Checked: Does nothing as a standalone permission, also need “Can edit employees” and “Can view personnel files” permissions checked. Can add file entries.

Unchecked: No ability to add personnel file entries, but can still view  employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Can view employees availabilities *main permission “Can view all employees must be enabled*

Checked: Opens up “view availabilities” under Employees tab on left menu. Can see employees’ availability, change date range and export. 

Unchecked: Cannot view employee availabilities, but can still view  employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Can edit employee availabilities *main permission “Can view all employees must be enabled*

Checked:  Does nothing as a standalone permission, also need “can view employees availabilities.” and “can view user calendars.” Will allow users to edit and add availabilities for other employees and view their user calendars in their entirety.

Unchecked: No ability to edit other users’ availabilities but can still view  employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Edit employee certifications *main permission “Can view all employees must be enabled*

Checked: Does nothing as a standalone permission, also need “can edit employees.” This will allow editing of employees’ entire profile, as well as managing certifications.

Unchecked: No ability to edit certifications, but can still view  employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Can approve/deny/delete employee trades *main permission “Can view all employees must be enabled*

Checked: Ability to approve/deny/delete employee trades and populate as a “Supervisor” for trades if using employee-supervisor pairs.

Unchecked: Cannot approve/deny/delete employee trades, but can still request shift trades, view trade requests and ledger. 



Can view user calendars *main permission “Can view all employees must be enabled*

Checked: Can view other employees’ calendars/day planners, which show work shifts, time offs. Also gives the ability to add event

Unchecked: Can only view their own day planner, but can still view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Manage Employee - Classifications:

The main permission “Can view all employees must be enabled* and that, in turn will open up the following permissions that cannot be turned on/offf on an individual basis: view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. The main permission “Can view employee classifications” must also be enabled.



Can view employee classifications

Checked: Nothing as a standalone permission, needs “Can view all employees” also enabled. Can view and reorder classifications, can view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 

Unchecked: Cannot view employee classifications, but can view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Can add employees classifications

Checked: Nothing as a standalone permission, needs “Can view all employees” and “Can view employee classifications” also enabled. Allows adding additional classifications and reordering existing classifications..

Unchecked: Cannot add employee classifications, but can view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Can edit employee classifications

Checked: Nothing as a standalone permission, needs “Can view all employees” and “Can view employee classifications” also enabled. Allows editing the names of and reordering existing classifications.

Unchecked: Cannot edit employee classifications, but can view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Can delete employee classifications

Checked: Nothing as a standalone permission, needs “Can view all employees” and “Can view employee classifications” also enabled. Allows deleting and reordering existing classifications.

Unchecked: Cannot delete employee classifications, but can view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Manage Employee- Groups:


The
main permission “Can view all employees must be enabled* and that, in turn will open up the following permissions that cannot be turned on/offf on an individual basis:
view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc.
The main permission “Can view employee groups” must also be enabled.


Can view employee groups

Checked: Nothing as a standalone permission, needs “Can view all employees” also enabled. Can view and reorder groups, can view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 

Unchecked: Cannot view employee groups, but can view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Can add employee groups

Checked: Nothing as a standalone permission, needs “Can view all employees” and “Can view employee groups” also enabled. Allows adding additional groups and reordering existing groups..

Unchecked: Cannot add employee groups, but can view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Can edit employee groups

Checked: Nothing as a standalone permission, needs “Can view all employees” and “Can view employee groups” also enabled. Allows editing the names of and reordering existing groups.

Unchecked: Cannot edit employee groups, but can view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 


Can delete employee groups

Checked: Nothing as a standalone permission, needs “Can view all employees” and “Can view employee groups” also enabled. Allows deleting and reordering existing groups.

Unchecked: Cannot delete employee groups, but can view employee information, such as name, email, phone number, lists, etc. 



Time Off:


Can approve/deny/delete time off

Checked: Can approve/deny/delete time off from Process Time Off Requests area, can also click “+Add” in the Employees Off area to add employees into Time Off from CrewScheduler (to drag and drop, need the “Allow CrewScheduler drag & drop shift changes” permission under CrewScheduler.)

Unchecked: Cannot approve/deny/delete time off, cannot add employees into Time Off from CrewScheduler 



Can manage recurring time off

Checked: Nothing as a standalone permission, needs “Can approve/deny/delete time off” permission, allows approve/deny/delete time off from Process Time Off Requests area, can also click “+Add” in the Employees Off area to add employees into Time Off from CrewScheduler (to drag and drop, need the “Allow CrewScheduler drag & drop shift changes” permission under CrewScheduler) and add a recurring pattern to the time off, 

Unchecked: Cannot approve/deny/delete time off, cannot add employees into Time Off from CrewScheduler with a repeating pattern.



Can see masked data about time off

Checked: Can see the time off type associated with a masked time off on the CrewScheduler. 

Unchecked: Masked time offs on the CrewScheduler appear as “masked” without the original time off type visible. 



Delete absence records

Checked: Ability to view and delete records within the absence module.

Unchecked: Ability to view only records within the absence module. 



Accruals:


Can edit time off accruals

Checked: Setup accruals populates under Time Offs tab in menu; ability to add/edit/delete and otherwise manage accrual profiles, accrual tracks, bulk edit accruals

Unchecked: Setup accruals does not populate, cannot otherwise access.



Can view accrued hours for all employees

Checked: Nothing as a standalone permission, need “Can edit time off accruals,” “Can view all employees,” and “Can edit employees” also enabled. This opens up ability to view/edit all other areas within an employee’s profile. For the accrual specifically, you can log rank changes, manage rank types, add accrual profiles, view current banks and their history.

Unchecked: Cannot view accrued hours for employees.



Can change/adjust accrued hours

Checked: Nothing as a standalone permission, need “Can edit time off accruals,” “Can view all employees,” and “Can edit employees” also enabled. This opens up ability to view/edit all other areas within an employee’s profile. For the accrual specifically, you can log rank changes, manage rank types, add accrual profiles, view current banks and their history, as well as manually add or deduct hours.

Unchecked: Cannot change/adjust employees’ accrued hours.



Self Manage:


Can edit avatar

Checked: Allows employee to “select file” within their profile to upload as avatar

Unchecked: No option to upload profile picture



Can run reports on self

Checked: Opens up Reports option on left menu bar, ability to run Employee Report but only on self, not other employees

Unchecked: No reports options



Can add holdover hours for self

Checked: Can click the green clock icon on their entry on the CrewScheduler and add holdover hours.

Unchecked: No ability to click the green clock icon on their entry on the CrewScheduler (no functionality.)



Can add/edit/delete own misc. Hours

Checked: Nothing as a standalone permission. Need “Can add holdover hours for self” and will allow existing holdover hours to be amended.

Unchecked: Cannot edit existing holdover hours.



Can manage own ledger

Checked: Ability to manually adjust trade ledger between self and other employees.

Unchecked: Trade ledger is view-only.



Intelligence:


Can add/edit CrewSense qualifiers

Checked: Assistant icon populates on left menu bar, only with option to access qualifiers. Within, can add qualifiers, edit existing qualifiers and add/delete users to qualifiers lists. 

Unchecked: No access to Assistant.



Can change assignment rules

Checked: Assistant icon populates on left menu bar, only with option to access assignment rules. Within, can add assignment/rules and apply changes to CrewScheduler. There is also a shortcut to add qualifiers, even without the above “Can add/edit CrewSense qualifiers” permission.

Unchecked: No access to Assistant.



Can manage CrewSense algorithm

Checked:  Assistant icon populates on left menu bar, only with option to access Assistant settings. Within, can access recent Assistant events, as well as the entire settings. 

Unchecked: No access to Assistant. 



Can analyze with CrewSense

Checked: Assistant icon populates on left menu bar with options to access dashboard, event log and analyze. Dashboard shows today’s events, event log shows recent events, and analyze allows user to choose specific day(s) to analyze. If a vacancy is located, the employee will have ability to initiate CallBacks or make substitutions.

Unchecked: No access to Assistant. 



Misc:



Can edit company announcements

Checked: Able to “add new” under Announcements from home page

Unchecked:  View only Announcements on home page



Can edit bulletin board

Checked: Able to add/edit content on Bulletin Board

Unchecked: View only Bulletin Board content



Can manage monthly calendars

Checked: Allows users to edit and add to the monthly calendar

Unchecked: View only ability of the monthly calendar



Can edit event calendar

Checked: Allows adding/editing Other Events and Group Events from Time Off Calendar

Unchecked: View only ability on the Time Off/Event Calendar



Can edit file manager files

Checked: In file manager, can right-click and have options to reload, upload files, new folder, new text file, sort and get info. 

Unchecked: Allows reload, sort and get info only.



Can manage forms

Checked: Allows access to Public Forms Repository, manage forms categories, add new forms, submit existing forms to repository, view/export submissions, edit and delete forms.

Unchecked: Access forms only to fill out existing forms. 



Can send notifications

Checked: Notifications module populates on menu bar, allows sending/receiving of notifications to all employees, as well as ability to view all notifications’ histories. 

Unchecked: No access to notification module.



Can run employee reports/exports

Checked: Access to entire reports module: employee, payroll, certifications, CallBack, leave requests and accrual reports. Can export, print, etc. within each. 

Unchecked: No access to reports module. 



Can manage sign up board

Checked: Create sign up board events, modify and delete current events,, remove employees that have signed up for events.

Unchecked: View and sign up for events on sign up board.



Can manage timeclock

Checked: Can view, edit and delete own and other employees’ time clock entries.

Unchecked: Can clock in and out and view own time clock entries.




Admin:


Can edit system settings

Checked: Admin link populates at the top of the screen, allowing for editing of all system settings. Can click on company logo and edit, as well as update billing and subscription information. Chat feature populates on bottom right of screen. 

Unchecked: No access to update admin/system settings, no access to chat, no access to billing and subscription information. 



Can edit user permissions **must enable “Can edit system settings first**

Checked: Access to permission roles, creating new and editing existing, as well as  admin link populates at the top of the screen, allowing for editing of all system settings. Can click on company logo and edit, as well as update billing and subscription information. Chat feature populates on bottom right of screen. 

Unchecked: Cannot edit or add permission roles.



Can manage billing info **must enable “Can edit system settings first**

Does nothing outside of what the global “Can edit system settings” permission does.



Can view system logs **must enable “Can edit system settings first**

Checked: Allows searchable access to system logs and user sessions

Unchecked: Does not allow access to system log
