Approving Self Scheduled Employees

Once an employee has signed up for a self scheduled shift, and if the option to Require Admin or Supervisor approval for self scheduling has been checked, the indicated Admin or Supervisor will be notified via email as well as by growl notification in the system and action is then required to approve the self scheduled shift.

To approve the position, click on the self scheduled employee on the CrewScheduler.

From there, a window will pop up.

If you approve of the hours and position, click Approve.

Once approved,  the system will automatically send an SMS Text notification to the employee letting them know the shift has been approved and awarded to them. Now the employee has been added to the shift!
